Video Explainer

Turn one idea into a short narrated lesson: a teacher's voice walks through a problem, an example and the answer, with a new picture every few seconds showing what it describes.

Making a video

  1. Open your space and go to AI Tools, then open Video Explainer.
  2. Describe the idea you want explained. Type @ to tag a book or @@ to tag a chapter if it should follow your material (see Tag Books & Chapters) — without a tag, it explains from general subject knowledge.
  3. Pick a length, 30 sec or 1 min, and landscape or portrait.
  4. Send the request. The whole video, pictures and narration, is made in one go.

Each video teaches one idea. Ask for a whole chapter and it teaches the idea the rest depends on, then suggests the next videos to make.

Refining it

Ask for changes in plain words — "make frame 3 clearer", "add a frame on the water cycle", "slow down the ending" — and it's redrawn as a new version. A frame that failed to draw shows up blank; ask for it to be redrawn.

Versions

Every edit is kept as a version. Open the version history to go back to an earlier one — switching is instant and doesn't cost anything.

Saving it

Download the video as MP4 from the document panel. It's also listed in Documents, ready to reopen or download later.
