Mock Paper
Generate a full board-style mock paper from the chapters you are revising — sections, marks, a time allowance and a complete answer key to check yourself against — grounded in your book.
Generating a mock paper
- Open your space and go to AI Tools, then open Mock Paper.
- Describe the paper in the chat. Type
@to tag a book or@@to tag the chapters it should cover (see Tag Books & Chapters). Without a tag, Classly looks for a matching book in your library and suggests it, or sets the paper from general subject knowledge when none covers the topic. - Mention your class, the board or exam, a total, or a difficulty, if it matters — otherwise the paper follows the CBSE pattern for your class.
- Send the request, and the paper is set straight away.
Refining the result
The paper opens alongside the chat. Continue with instructions to adjust it — "make Section C harder", "swap Q4 for a numerical", "cut it to 40 marks" — and the paper updates in place. Switch to Answer Sheet to see the answers and explanations.
The result is kept in Documents, ready to reopen, refine or download.
Getting the most out of it
Sit the paper before you open the answer sheet: set a timer for the time shown, write your answers, then mark them against the key. Ask for a new paper on the topics you lost marks on.
Saving it
Download the paper as PDF or Word (.docx) — see Exporting Content.
