Create Your Organization

The first thing you do in Classly is create an organization — your school, college, or coaching center. Everything else lives inside it.

Setting up

After you sign in for the first time, Classly walks you through three steps:

1. Your profile — enter your first and last name, then select Continue.
2. Your organization — enter a Name and choose an Organization Type (university, school, coaching, or other), then select Continue.
3. Your plan — choose a plan or start a free trial. You can skip this for now, but AI tools and member invitations need an active plan, so it's worth doing here.

You become the Owner of the organization you create.

If you've reached the organization limit on your plan, you'll be prompted to upgrade instead of seeing the form.

Creating another organization later

If you already belong to an organization, open the organization switcher in the sidebar and select Create Organization to add another.

Where you land

• Owners and admins land on the Dashboard, the home for managing the organization.
• Teachers land on AI Tools, ready to work with their assigned books.
