Create Your Space
Everything in Classly lives inside a space. There are two kinds:
- Learning space — a private space to study: your books, notes, and AI tutor.
- Teaching space — a shared space for a class or school: teammates, books, and teaching tools.
Setting up
After you sign in for the first time, Classly walks you through two steps:
- Your profile — enter your first and last name, then select Continue.
- Your space — pick Learning or Teaching, keep or edit the suggested name, then select Create space.
Every space starts on the Free plan, which includes monthly AI credits so you can begin straight away. A paid plan is what unlocks book uploads and member invitations.
You become the Owner of the space you create.
The Free plan includes one learning space and one teaching space per person. Once you have both, the create form shows which kind is already in use.
Creating another space later
Open the space rail on the left (the switcher on mobile) and select the + tile to add another space.
Where you land
- Owners and admins of a teaching space land on the Dashboard.
- Teachers land on AI Tools, ready to work with their assigned books.
- A learning space opens on the Books Library.
