Tag Books & Chapters
In any AI Tools chat, tag specific books or chapters directly in your message so the AI grounds its answer in exactly the sources you mean.
| Type | To tag |
|---|---|
@ | a book |
@@ | a chapter |
Tag a book
- In the chat box, type
@followed by part of the book's name. - Choose a book from the list that appears.
The book is inserted as a tag, and the AI focuses its response on that book.
The list shows up to 5 books at a time — the closest matches to what you've typed. Keep typing more of the name to narrow the results.
Tag a chapter
- Type
@@followed by part of the chapter's name. - Choose a chapter from the list — each result shows its parent book so you can tell similar chapters apart.
As with books, the list shows up to 5 chapters at a time — the closest matches to what you've typed. Keep typing to narrow them down.
Tagging a chapter narrows the AI to that single section, which is useful when a book is large or covers several topics.
Tag more than one book or chapter in the same message to compare or combine sources. Tagging works in every AI tool — the Teaching Assistant, the Tutor, Wiki Explorer, and the generators.
