Mind Map

Turn any topic or chapter into a single picture — a mind map you can read at a glance, print as a poster, or revise from.

Generating a mind map

1. Open your space and go to AI Tools, then open Mind Map.
2. Describe the topic in the chat. Mention a book or chapter if the map should follow your material — type @ to tag a book or @@ to tag a chapter (see Tag Books & Chapters).
3. Agree the map before it is drawn. Classly proposes the centre and the branches first, and asks about anything that would change the picture:
   • how much detail each branch carries
   • the style — clean vector or hand-drawn, and the colour palette
   • who the map is for, so the wording matches the class
4. Confirm, and the map is drawn once.

Drawing is the step that costs credits, so it is worth correcting the outline before you confirm rather than redrawing afterwards.

Changing the picture

Ask for what should change in plain words — "make the branch labels teal", "add a sub-branch for enzymes", "simplify it to five branches". Each change re-renders the picture and keeps the previous one as a version.

Every chat owns exactly one mind map. A different topic needs a new chat.

Going back to an earlier version

Open the version history from the icon beside the map's title, then choose the version you want. Switching is instant, costs nothing, and the next change you ask for starts from the version you picked.

Saving the picture

Download the map as a PNG from the artifact panel. Mind maps are also kept in My Artifacts under Mind Maps, ready to reopen or download later.
