Share Books with Members

Control who can see and use each book. A book is visible to the members it has been shared with — plus all admins and owners, who always see every book in the organization.

How access works

• Admins and owners see every book in Books Library and can use any of them with the AI tools.
• Teachers see only the books that have been shared with them. Books that aren't shared with a teacher don't appear in their library and aren't available to their AI tools.

Sharing a book

1. In Books Library, open the book's actions menu (⋯) and select Edit.
2. Under Members with access, select the members who should have the book.
3. Select Save.

The linked members appear as avatars in the book's Access column, and the book shows up in their Books Library right away.

Removing access

Open the same edit dialog and unselect the member, then save. The book disappears from their library and their AI tools.

Only admins and owners can change who a book is shared with.
