Homework
Generate the homework sheet you hand out after class — word meanings, questions, blanks, practice sets and more — matched to the grade and grounded in your book when you pick one.
Generating a homework sheet
- Open your space and go to AI Tools.
- Open Homework, or use the Homework shortcut on any chapter in a book.
- Fill in the setup form:
- Source — optional. Pick a book and chapter to ground the sheet in it, or leave it empty and describe the topic in the instructions.
- Grade — set automatically from the book; change it when you teach the same book to another grade.
- Type — what the students do: Mixed, Short Answers, MCQ, Practice, Word Meanings, Research, Activity and more. Each type has a one-line description under the selector.
- Include answer key — adds an answer key at the end of the sheet. Revision, MCQ, Fill in the Blanks, Practice and Comprehension turn it on by default.
- Instructions — what you taught today, how many questions, anything to stress or leave out. Required when no chapter is picked.
- Submit to generate the sheet, or choose Skip, start in chat to describe the homework in your own words.
Homework on a topic outside your books
Ask for any topic in the chat. If a book in your library covers it, the AI suggests that book first. Otherwise it writes the sheet from general subject knowledge and says so.
Refining the result
The sheet opens alongside the chat. Continue with instructions to adjust it — make it shorter, add five more blanks, swap the activity for a research task, add the answer key — and the sheet updates in place. Type @ to tag a specific book or @@ to tag a chapter — see Tag Books & Chapters for details.
The result is kept in Documents, ready to reopen, refine or download.
Sharing it
Download the sheet as PDF or Word (.docx) to hand out or share — see Exporting Content.
