Reading Books

Open any book in your organization and browse its chapters.

Finding a book

Open Books Library in the sidebar. Search by name or author, and narrow the list with the Grade, Subject, and Board filters.

Admins and owners see every book in the organization; teachers see the books that have been shared with them.

A book is ready once its Status shows Ready. Books that are still Uploading or Processing can't be opened yet, and a Failed book can be retried from its actions menu.

Opening a book

1. Go to Books Library.
2. Select a book's name to open it.

The book page shows its cover, title, author, and page count.

Browsing chapters

Below the book details, the Chapters list shows each detected chapter with its start and end pages. Select the view (eye) icon on any chapter to read its extracted text.

To work with a book's content, use the AI tools — tag the book or a chapter in chat with @ or @@ and ask about it directly. See Tag Books & Chapters.

A member can open a book once it has been shared with them; admins and owners can open every book in the organization.
